Our Policies
Attendance, Drop-offs and Pick Ups
- Please notify us via email, message or phone call at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled class if you are unable to attend.
- Regular classroom participation is necessary to achieve the best possible learning situation for every student.
- Please drop your child for their class at the specified time. Early drop-offs are not permitted unless via prior arrangement as we do have the capacity to monitor or supervise your child outside of their lesson time
- Children must be picked up promptly once their class has concluded.
- Late pick-ups will be added to your account at the rate of $80 per hour (or part there-of)
Photos & Videos
- Our enrolment form provides the option for providing consent to us taking photos and or vidoes of your children during their time in our Learning Hub.
- These may be used for promotional activities such as on our website, social media pages or periodic newsletters.
- We will use the photos or videos in accordance with your consent.
- If you wish to change your consent, then please notify us via email or phone.
Payment
- Payment must be completed prior to your child attending class. Payment is what secures your child’s spot in a class.
- If payment is not completed prior to the start of the Term your child will not be permitted to enter the class.
- Partial payment for group sessions are not accepted. Payment for the full term must be made, and any missed sessions will be compensated with makeup sessions.
Refund Policy
The annual Enrolment Fee is non-refundable.
Term fees are charged and payable in advance. This fee is non-refundable.
If you cancel a scheduled tutoring session:
- More than 48 hours before the scheduled session, you can reschedule your session subject to availability and scheduled group times. You are not entitled to a refund.
- Less than 48 hours before the scheduled session or fail to arrive for a session, you are not entitled to reschedule that session, nor are you entitled to a refund.
Cancellations & Make Up classes
If your child is absent due to holiday or illness, we will try to provide a make-up lesson during the term, however this is dependent on availability. We will provide you with any material your child may have missed.
If your child is not attending a lesson, notice must be provided in writing 48 hours prior to the session commencing. Missed sessions, without appropriate notice will not be credited and are forfeited.
Up to a maximum of 2 make-up lessons are allowed each term.
Reading Rock Stars reserves the right to cancel or change any classes due to any circumstance, such as staff illness or other absenteeism.
Health & Safety
Your child’s safely is our number one is our priority. If your child has a medical condition, please make sure you have informed us prior to commencing the program.
Food & Drink
Classes typically run for a maximum of 1 hour. Ensure that you pack time appropriate snacks or drinks for your child so that maximum time is spent participating in the class.
A snack that is light and nut free, such as fruit is recommended.
Enrolment & Starter Pack
When enrolling, your credit card details will be required for payment of the Starter Pack. Term fees and future payments can be made by other payment methods.
The Starter Pack consists of:
- High Frequency Hot words THRASS Chart (Covering 44 Phonemes and 120 Graphemes)
- THRASS Handwriting Chart
- Reading Rock Stars Book
- THRASS Words 6 Coloured Picture Sheets
- Star Reward Chart including Reward Stickers

Resources provided by Reading Rock Stars must be used by Reading Rock Stars students only. Materials cannot be shared, reproduced or copied without permission.
Take home readers are required to be returned each week, if they are damaged or lost a replacement fee will be charged.
Student Outcomes
Every child is unique, progressing at their individual pace. We cannot assure specific academic outcomes as each child’s journey is distinct.

Continued support and revision at home play a crucial role in achieving favorable outcomes. It’s important to note that we do not guarantee identical results for every child.
